Jessia Sykora- Personal Trainer
With over ten years of experience in the health and wellness industry, Jessica Sykora is the fitness expert and owner of Sykora Fitness. Jessica Sykora is a certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, Performance Enhancement Specialist and Prenatal and Postnatal Training. Born and raised in Tempe, Arizona, she attended Arizona State University where she studied Communications and Economics. Upon graduation, she discovered her passion to be in the fitness industry, so she began working as a Personal Trainer. After years of successfully training in corporate gyms, she decided to branch off on my own. She plays professional beach volleyball on the AVP tour, and when she is not training for volleyball, she enjoys snowboarding, painting, playing the piano and pretty much all things active!
Kate- Personal Trainer
Kate graduated from Long Beach State University with double Bachelor's Degrees in Exercise Science and Molecular Chemistry, and a Minor in Psychology. She has been a Personal Trainer since 2013. Kate currently works as a Tier 3+ Personal Trainer for Equinox, but is currently available for private training sessions. She is certified through ACE Fitness, CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning) and also has a pilates certification. She holds specialty certifications in Pre/Post Natal Training, Yoga, TRX Suspension Training, Kettle Bell Level 1 & 2 Training and Animal Flow.
In her spare time Kate loves to play beach volleyball, she enjoys traveling, cooking, sewing, painting and of course, working out daily. She continues to develop her most recent passion, cooking, and loves to create new recipes and easy ways to stay organized with healthy meals during a very busy week.
Anne- Cupping Specialist
Anne graduated from Mount St. Mary's College with a Masters in Physical Therapy in 1999. She began her career as a physical therapist, and also played professional beach volleyball on the AVP tour. In her 15 years as a therapist, she has worked at several well known clinics in the Marina del Rey, Santa Monica and Pacific Palisades areas. She has continued to play beach volleyball and improve her physical therapy skills, using her own experience with pain and learning what works to relieve it. Anne started incorporating cupping into her treatments 10 years ago and finds it to be valuable in releasing tight tissues and relieving pain. In her spare time, she enjoys supporting human and animal rights causes and doing her part to help change the world for the better.
